Sanando (Healing) is all about healing our wounds and how determination, inspiration and love can help us achieve anything we believe possible. When I started working on this portfolio I was in a transition point in my life, where I started meditating, exercising and taking a better care of myself.
This portfolio to me, is the perfect representation of what I was going trough in that point of my life. Maybe you could use this as an inspiration to go beyond any limitation and create a better life for yourself a daily reminder that can help you the same way it helped me.
Intimate portraits, the play of shadow and light. Ephemeral friends found in streets and parks around the city, captured in the studio where just a window and my camera I utilize to create. Every image is an intimate meditation into the world of nature.

Spirits of Ages
A dream within a dream, images created by composing two or more images together to create a surreal world that tells the history of the world, nature, man and the relationship between the three.
Into Eternity is a series of images depicting intimate details of the landscape, exploring textures, lines, and light. Following the different shapes created by the play of these different elements of the landscape.
These deconstruction of the landscape allows me to present a very clean and minimalist expression of what I feel when I hike and walk around nature. Abstract fragments that as a hole are a glimpse into eternity.
Images created from double exposures made in camera, a fun exploration of the form and textures of nature combined with man and man made objects. Visions comming from the subconscious.
Remembering what it felt to be a kid and play with colors, form and textures. This new body of work that's growing from this process is a consequence of this "child play". Recreating how I felt looking through 3D Red-Blue glasses. Looking at the world by placing a red transparent marble close to my eye and look at the sky with that magnificent red color.
